1 in 3 Americans will develop diabetes, but with your help we can change this statistic. As the number of people with diabetes grows, our economy and health care system struggles to keep up with the demands of managing this potentially deadly disease. $1 in $5 healthcare dollars is spent treating diabetes. This disease currently places more than a $174 billion dollar burden on our economy, and this dollar amount continues to grow everyday with each new case of
diabetes.
The time has come for us to stop being a spectator and get involved. WE can prevent 95% of new cases of diabetes by stopping the progression of prediabetes. The 57 million Americas with prediabetes may develop diabetes within a few years, but once (or if) diagnosed they are left to fight-off diabetes with little or no help. WE are dedicate to help those "at-risk" by provide them the encouragement, guidance, and resources they need to make prevention more than a possibility- we make it a reality.
Each person we help has specific and unique needs, and each of YOU can help us meet these needs in your own unique way. At this time, if you are unable to make a monetary donation, we ask you to consider donating your time, skills, or services.
