Processed Meat and Cancer Risk

If you haven’t heard, a new report from the World Health Organization (WHO) is claiming that eating processed meats poses the same cancer risk as smoking.  In response, the North American Meat Institute calls this statement “dramatic and alarmist overreach”.  So.. is it time to put down the hot dogs and step away from the bacon, or is there possibly a part of this story we aren’t hearing?
